Cancellation Policy

* Important *

All new students must read and agree to the terms below before paying for lessons.

​Lesson Cancellations

To avoid habitual late cancellations and no-call/no-shows, please read the following policy:

Effective November 1, 2021, All students will be allowed a maximum of four (4) cancellations per year.(Updated February 9, 2024)

This will include, but not be limited to the following: Family vacations, School or work related cancellations, Rescheduling, etc.

All students who wish to cancel one (1) regularly scheduled weekly lesson, must give a notice of at least 24-hours via email: guitarlessonsorlando@gmail.com or via text (407) 252-8460.

Any and all cancellations of lessons given in less than a 24-hour time period before a scheduled weekly lesson, will result in a forfeiture of one (1) lesson scheduled for that time/day/week.

Any and all cancellations of lessons made after the two previously allotted cancellations in a one year duration, will count as one (1) lesson against your paid series of sequential lessons cancelled.

* Family Emergencies

In the event of a family emergency of any kind, and a lesson must be canceled, the lesson will NOT be forfeited for that week; and will be rescheduled per time/day availability, and per a follow-up communication between student and instructor.

* Rescheduling/Moving your lesson

At least two weeks notice per your request to change your scheduled lesson day/time, must be given via email (guitarlessonsorlando@gmail.com) or via text (407) 252-8460. Please understand that logistical scheduling is very limited to specific days and times available. Every effort to reschedule your lesson for a different day/time will be made upon request.

* Discontinuation of lessons

Any discontinuations of lessons require a four-week (30-day) notice. This will allow enough time to prepare a rescheduling for all remaining paid lessons. All lessons will be rescheduled upon availability only. All lessons in the series remaining after the date of discontinuations will be forfeited. No refunds.

* Cancellations by the Instructor

If the Instructor requires a cancellation of a lesson or lessons, every effort will be made to give at least 24-hours notice via email and/or text. The lesson will NOT be forfeited, and will be credited/rescheduled at another time/day availability permitting.

This policy is subject to change at any time without notice, and must be agreed upon by any/all students before scheduling of lessons.
